Bioptics
Bioptics is a combination procedure involving a contact lens implant followed by LASIK. It is recommended for the most extreme levels of myopia and hyperopia (with or without astigmatism) when neither technique alone will entirely correct the refractive error. This combined technique can be used to correct over 30.00 diopters of myopia-nearly three times the maximum that can be safely corrected with LASIK.
